The sovereignty of Cambodia has been incrementally compromised as Hun Sen has parcelled out our national assets to foreign interests under the guise of 99-year development projects. This strategy, designed to maintain his grip on power, has resulted in China's control over our territorial seas and Vietnam's joint development of border provinces - a clear breach of national trust.

The dubious border treaties signed in 1982-1985, supplemented by the 2005 agreement, have already led to the loss of Koh Tral to Vietnam. Furthermore, the CLV project poses a significant threat to Cambodia's future security and stability.

Unfortunately, this pattern of territorial erosion is not new to our nation. We have lost Kampuchea Krom, then Koh Tral, and continue to lose land along our borders. The question now is: what will happen to the CLV? Will we allow this trajectory of loss to continue?

As citizens of Cambodia, it is our collective responsibility to decide whether to acquiesce or unite against this threat to our nation's sovereignty. Hun Sen and his son Hun Manet have demonstrated an inability to defend our country's interests and a reluctance to reform the regime. It is therefore up to us, the Cambodian people, to join forces and demand change. We must come together to defend our motherland and secure a brighter future for our children.
Let us unite in this moment of national crisis and call upon our leaders to uphold their constitutional obligations to protect and preserve Cambodia's sovereignty. The time for action is now.
